...Yes, I have a problem. [He sits up and pulls the comforter down, away from his head. Two cat ears flick forward once the comforter passes over them. His eyes even seem to glow in the dim light as he looks over at Yuri (a little dismayed that he can actually see somewhat in the dark).]

I believe Loki has struck again.

...Yes. [Artemis sighs--he can't tell if Yuri is blushing or not, and he takes that stutter as a sign of surprise.] I woke up and, well, there they were. Though these are only half of it.

[He slides out of the bed. While Artemis appears to be fine sleeping shirtless, he at least kept his pants on. And there's a sleek black tail sloping gracefully out of a hole Artemis cut just below the waistband of the spare jeans Loki gave them all (as though he would cut a hole in his good pants--please).] And it's all real, everything works. [He flicks his ears and tail to demonstrate, sighing heavily.] I've become a walking fetish.

No... [He sighs, crossing his arms, assuming Yuri is only coming closer to get a better look. It is bizarre: cat ears on a human. Functional cat ears, no less.] I suspect this is another one of Loki's tricks that I will simply have to wait out.

[He shifts a little, looking uncomfortable.] Would it be alright if I stayed here for a few days? I'm afraid of what might happen out there if anyone catches wind of something interesting walking down the strip. That is the reason I came here--to avoid being harassed, mostly.

Well it's not *new*, but I think it would be #5

Thank you, Yuri. I do appreciate your hospitality. [And Artemis intends to take full advantage of Yuri's hospitality. Once he's given the okay, Artemis is back on Yuri's bed, making himself comfortable on his stomach. He watches Yuri, head propped in his hands.]

Oh no, I won't need any of my clothes. I wouldn't want to ruin them. [He curls his tail a little to indicate.] Besides. If I'm here, I can simply walk around naked while my clothes are in the wash, yes? [He grins—there may be a little elongated canine there.]

[Artemis considers this, ears shifting to take in all of the noises in the room. The mattress creaking, Yuri's hands on the mattress...]

[He smiles, head tilting to the side.] I wouldn't just leave you, Yuri. [Pushing himself up, he scoots over to Yuri, arranging himself on the other's shoulder. Tail curling back and forth, he smiled with a hint of mischief in there.] Unless you'd like me to leave.

Hey now, what did I say about putting words in my mouth? Besides, I had plenty of pets as a kid - I can take care of a stray cat for a few days.

I'm not a stray. [Artemis sits, straddling one of Yuri's legs and getting right in his personal space. Yuri's personal space was his to invade, after all, wasn't it?]

I'm your cat, aren't I? [He smiles, rubbing his ear against Yuri's forehead. He demands scritchings.]

Of course I'll get what I want. I'm too handsome not to. [He smiles, tail curling around Yuri's leg while Yuri admires him. He loves it when he's having attention showered on him. Touches and kisses, they are the best things in life.]

[Artemis settles again on Yuri's leg when his ears start receiving attention--he's not terribly surprised. They're strange, new, different... And so full of nerves.]

[Yuri starts passing his thumbs over the shape of his ears, and Artemis shifts a little against Yuri's leg. And then when the scritchings begin, Artemis is pressing against Yuri's chest and purring like a lawn mower. No wonder Yuri liked his head massaged--this had Artemis feeling wonderful.]

Mmmm... [He sighs, unintentionally sounding a little wanton when he does so. But it just feels so good, he can't help but sound pleased.] Yes, just like that...
